How it works
- Add your details, the customer's details and a quote number
- List each item and price
- Set the tax rate that applies and any discount
- Choose how long the quote is valid, then print or save as PDF
Worked example. 3 hours at 60.00 plus 40.00 of materials is 220.00. At 5% tax the total is 231.00, valid until the date you choose.
Common questions
What should a quote include?
The work described, exclusions, itemised prices, tax, the total, a validity date and how to accept. Our guide has a checklist.
How long should a quote stay valid?
Often 14 to 30 days. Choose a period that reflects how quickly your costs change.
Can I turn a quote into an invoice?
With the free tools you copy the lines across. In BusinessPilotOS an accepted quote converts to an invoice in one action.
