Software for professional services firms
A professional firm sells expertise by the engagement and the hour, and its paperwork has to be right. BusinessPilotOS tracks the opportunity, the proposal, the engagement, the approved time and the invoice, with engagement letters and client documents reviewed and filed alongside.
Engagements that span months
Run each engagement as a project with tasks and owners, so partners can see progress and what is waiting on whom.
Timesheets that need sign-off
Staff record time against projects and submit it, and a manager approves or rejects it, so the hours are checked before you invoice.
Documents that need a second pair of eyes
Engagement letters and client files move from draft to review to approved, reviewed by someone other than the uploader, with every step logged.
How a job flows through it

Who it suits
Accounting and bookkeeping practices, law firms, architects, engineers and other firms with a few partners and a small professional team.
What to know before you start
There is no trust or client-money accounting, conflict checking, practice-specific compliance or client portal. BusinessPilotOS manages the business side; professional judgement and regulated records stay in your specialist systems.
Frequently asked questions
Can I call projects 'matters' or 'engagements'?
Yes. Choose your firm type in Business setup, for example Law firm, and the workspace uses those words. You can rename them.
Is time approval enforced before billing?
Time can be submitted and approved; approvals are recorded but do not yet block invoicing.
Where are client documents stored?
In private storage, opened through short-lived links after a permission check, with categories such as legal and financial restricted to senior roles.
